PARts Advanced Management Module – AMM

In the recent PARts Console v6.2.12 Update, we added the all new PARts Advanced Management Module. In its initial implementation, this module is centered around the TecDoc Axle and Engine tables. When purchased on their own, these tables are little more than a set of data files that must be manipulated into a usable format.

The PARts Advanced Management Module allows users to take their TecDoc Axle and Engine table subscriptions and use them within PARts Console to create fitment links. The Axle and Engine tables provide significantly more detail than either the Passenger or Heavy Duty tables. This is particularly useful for customers requiring complex and specific fitment links where, for example, linking to a K-type or heavy duty truck N-type may be too generic. Additionally, this module benefits those working within the heavy duty industry as many such vehicles use axles and engines purchased from external suppliers (think Cummins engines, or Meritor axles). So, linking directly to the axle or engine may provide greater fitment coverage.

The Advanced Management Module is designed to keep pace with the evolving TecDoc connections. As such, purchasing this module allows you benefit from upgrades and developments as they happen. Examples of possible future features include cross-standard linking (ie. the ability to link a TecDoc Engine Number to a K-Type) and the addition of Transmission data.
